fair isle

i have four balls of plymouth suri alpaca, in two shades of green. they look so pretty next to each other. i plan on making a little unisex sweater/cardigan. that way i can save it and if we have a boy next, i can use it again!! smart mom ...
i have never done fair isle, but i think i can figure my own easy pattern. i just need to get two more balls for the pattern. i think i want a nice cream color and maybe a dark red to compliment the greens. in my head the sweater/cardigan will have a light green collar, button band and sleeve/waist egde. the body will be the dark green. the fair isle pattern will be four/five colors. something like this:
a repeat pattern of 6 across. each square equals two rows. a 22 row pattern. i think i wil place it on the front, back and upper sleeves. maybe along the bottom edge too?
