charity knitting

i am participating in some charity knitting courtesy of KH! i have already knitted on Oddball Blanket #1, and an Oddball Shawl (Pretty Purples- i did the variegated section!) i am also in the lineup to knit on Oddball Blanket #4! it will be here sometime in August,yay! you can also see the progress on all the blankets here, there are 5 in the USA, and one in Australia! So cool that this wonderful idea, thought up by KHs' very own Shandeh, has gone worldwide!

( wow, i think i ended every one of those sentences with an exclamation point!!!!!! *lol* )



so here is a couple of close ups pf the knitting i did on each project ....

i used caron simply soft in country blue (it was a mothers day gift -3 skeins- from dh) picked out especially for this blanket. i think i will use the same color on blanket #4 =)

i used jojoland cashmere merino dk, double stranded, for this project. its so soft to knit with and has great spring! this shawl will be coming back to me at a later date to be knit upon again, and then i will be sending it back to the knitter who started it off! it will be so cool to see it again. i am thrilled to be apart of this whole project! <3
